With the new Progressive Democrat takeover of Congress, and Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker of the House, Hugo Chavez is bolder with his attacks on Bush. Maybe Citgo doesn’t have to worry about a Citgo Boycott. The U.S. and Venezuela share very similar political ruling parties.
Carlos “The Jackal” is pen pals with Hugo Chavez.

And here is a message from “Mike.”
Chavez attacks Bush as a ‘genocidal’ leader
Venezuela’s president continued his criticism of President Bush after the pro-Chávez legislature declared that the 9/11 attacks were `self-inflicted.’
BY PHIL GUNSON
Special to The Miami Herald
When Venezuela’s leftist President Hugo Chávez called President Bush ”el diablo” in a U.N. speech in September, many thought his ”anti-imperialist” rhetoric had reached rock bottom.
But not so from the fat-faced thug. The Venezuelan government, to judge from recent events, officially regards Bush as a genocidal Nazi who arranged the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to justify aggression against other nations.
In a speech Tuesday, Chávez criticized the decision of an Iraqi court to sentence former dictator Saddam Hussein to the death penalty. ”If sentencing is to be done,” Chávez said, “the first one to be given the most severe sentence this planet has to offer should be the president of the United States, if we’re talking about genocidal presidents.”
HUGO’s RESOLUTION ON 9/11
His comments, which were fairly typical of his recent attacks on Bush, came shortly after the publication of a resolution by Venezuela’s legislative National Assembly describing the 9/11 attacks as ‘’self-inflicted” and after an exhibition at the Foreign Ministry building in Caracas in which Bush was portrayed as a Nazi storm trooper.
(Ironically, Chavez and his friends in high places are ex-storm troopers who tried to take control of Venezuela’s government by the point of their guns).
The resolution, which just appeared in the official government gazette, (like the New York Times is the government gazette for the Democrat party) primarily criticized Washington’s decision to build a wall along the Mexican border to keep illegal immigrants out.
It calls on the U.S. Congress to “demand that the government of President Bush explain the self-inflicted attack on the World Trade Center and its victims, the supposed aircraft that crashed into the Pentagon and the links between the bin Laden family and the Bush family.”
The resolution, drafted by Carlos Escarrá was passed unanimously by the 167-member assembly, all of them Chávez supporters after the opposition boycott of fixed elections last December.
Both Chávez and Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro have referred several times in the past to suspicions that the 9/11 attacks were planned by the Bush administration, and have called for an inquiry.
Maybe Nancy Pelosi, or John Murtha can help Chavez out.
Why didn’t you read this in your mainstream media? Could it be that the union activists and liberal/progressive jounalists want to keep their shared hate for free enterprise and Republicans?

I will do my part to inform America about Citgo. And any distributor who continues to do business with Citgo can look forward to lower and lower profits. We can vote with our buying power. Let’s show them America still has some backbone.

Hi Mike – a hat-tip to you on the new Pelosi Zot about her wine estate. Nuke hasn’t put it up yet. Hope you like it.
I think we ought to turn the Zots to Chavez. Man done crazy.

Yes. Hugo Chavez is a monster. Hugo “Boss” Chavez. The Citgo boycott is getting a lot of traffic. One day I had over 1,500 page views on the subject.

Interesting about Chavez – he seems to accuse others of his own bad acts. He comes to this country and makes a big to-do about giving cheap heating oil to poor Americans – yet his own people are starving and if lucky living in tin shacks. What a guy. What a world leader. I hope he learns to like the taste of oil.

Yes, I agree completely – seems to be his current dillusion. I wonder though if he realizes that Castro is playing him for a fool. It’s funny how these smarmy little dictators get their chests all puffed up as though people really give a hoot what they think or say. Those who agree – are just part of the same choir.
LOL – all that aside he isn’t even original, in fact none of them are. They are simply parroting what the left says already. So, I guess that just makes him a latin-speaking moonbat.
What’s really odd to me is that many of the leftists in this country and other western countries are supposed to me the champions of the downtrodden, those who are too weak or oppressed to speak for themselves – yet they align themselves with the likes of Castro, Chavez, Stalin and the rest – who just by stats are some of the worst oppressors and human rights violators on the planet. I know the dictators know they are full of it and lying but westerners who believe them, wow…what are they thinking?

You are right WC. It is amazing to me how quickly a nation can change. Chavez won with about 38 percent of the vote becuase of a splintered ticket due to the multi-party system. That’s how Ortega won a week ago as well. The Dems tried that in Texas for the governor position with multi-million dollar ad campaigns for two independents while the Democrat Bell was hoping for about 35 percent of the vote. I drove by Bell’s Houston City Hall pre-election party, big lights, tents, but only three people showed up. The Houston media didn’t show this poor showing for Bell.
The new name of the game is splinter the vote.

I passed by a large Citgo near Chicago. It was empty! Well, there was one fat woman filling up a van. I don’t think she knows that she is actually paying a country that wants to ruin America’s future. Her kids will be the ones hurt by her lazy lifestyle.

You bunch of naive dumb ass Americans, you live in a cloud of illusion, your stupidity and greed is destroying the planet. You live in country so swamped in propaganda, you wouldn’t accept the truth even if you could see it, for then you’d have to admit what you are all responsible for. Millions of deaths, thousands of your own people and troops. You live with a regime that is murdering people all over the planet, you fill your mouths with the same corporate shit you fill your ears with, it’s no wonder you can’t see or hear or feel. Your all f&%#ing murders, and it will all come back on you, I just hope it doesn’t destroy the rest of us in the process…. will you ever WAKE-UP??? You deluded, ill minded people, all that your main stream press writes is complete fabrication and you swallow it hook line and sinker.. WAKE-UP!

I challenge you all to read Chavez’ history before criticizing him. You can’t accurately speak about a topic unless you know all sides of the topic. This wiki article is actually very good:

Ant: Rarely did any single person get anywhere by telling a group of people that they are ignorant idiots. Rather, if you feel that way, tell them why instead so that they’ll actually listen to you (assuming they’re not completely close minded). On a less harsh level, I agree with you, though don’t misunderstand me, I’m not anti-American. I’m just against the general one sided ignorance that the American system tends to breed in the general populous through the manipulative mainstream media and political deceipt.
In all honesty, Venezuela probably has more openly free mainstream media than the US. Even with the libel/slander law that Chavez made, the US has very similar laws that were ALREADY in place.
