Lee Harvey Oswald was a patsy in the JFK assassination

The most accurate account of who killed JFK. It was not Lee Harvey Oswald

The most accurate account of who killed JFK. So serious, the History Chanel has been stopped from showing the TV series by a lawsuit from LBJ’s family and Democratic Party lawyers.

50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy is November 22, 2013. Yet, in a half-century, we have just a fraction of the truth published.

file://localhost/Users/gregmichael/Desktop/The%20Men%20Who%20Killed%20Kennedy.JPG

Any deep coverage of the assassination didn’t come from major newspapers. The best investigations have come from book authors and movie directors. The reputation of newspaper journalists has fallen from its peak in the early 1960s. The botched coverage of the Kennedy Assassination followed by decades of one-sided news stories coming from Democrat talking points has taken it’s toll on newspapers. In the early ’60s, the top 50 cities had two or three competing newspapers. Today, only New York, Boston and Chicago have two newspapers still publishing.

Was it color television that came in the late ’60s, or was it the content and ethical character of the newspapers editors and journalists?

Oliver Stone’s “JFK” presented many pieces of one of the most corrupt high crimes in U.S. history, but it failed to investigate the dangerous loose ends.

Within a week of the assassination, LBJ established what would be called the Warren Commission. Ten months later, the Warren report was issued with the “magic dancing bullet” and no mention of dozens of odd deaths.

With the Internet, authors, citizen journalists, and bloggers are doing a much better job uncovering the cover-ups than the elite media. How could that be? A rule of economics is choice. We had much fewer choice in news media until the internet came of age.

Take for example the assassination of JFK. Testimony has been hidden from the public for decades.

“Yeah, I had the son of a bitch killed. I’m glad I did. I’m sorry I couldn’t have done it myself!”

These were the words of Carlos Marcello, the Mafia godfather of Louisiana and Texas. And he was talking about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. I believe he was played by John Candy in Oliver Stones “JFK.”

Marcello’s admission is in uncensored FBI files at the National Archives, detailed for the first time in a new encyclopedic book “Legacy of Secrecy,” by Lamar Waldron.

Waldron’s 848-page blockbuster was published in November, 2008. It involves 20 years of research that began in 1988 when he didn’t know that Mafioso Marcello had confessed to JFK’s murder back in 1985. The FBI kept this fact a secret for more than two decades. The Warren Commission released its cover-up version of the death of JFK at the hands of a lone assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald and a magic bullet.

IN 1963, only weeks after JFK was killed, the FBI questioned 14 Marcello mob associates. Yet the godfather’s name doesn’t even appear in the Warren Report. This secrecy shows that the government all the way up to LBJ had a hand in the cover-up at the very least, he appointed the Warren Commission and never had any questions directed to him.

Such as have you ever met Jack Ruby? Do you know Carlos Marcello, what do Mr. Ruby and Mr. Marcello do for a living?

In their war against organized crime and essentially the Mafia, President Kennedy and his brother Attorney General Robert Kennedy were never able to convict any members of the Marcello crime family. And Marcello didn’t make his admission of guilt until he was serving a long prison sentence as a result of an FBI sting.

The FBI groomed an informant who became Carlos Marcello’s cellmate. These tapes have never been released but they reveal the godfather standing in the prison yard, flying into a rage and cussing the Kennedys.

Marcello confessed that he’d also met Lee Harvey Oswald and brought him into the plot via that Louisiana character David Ferrie, played by actor Joe Pesci in Stone’s  “JFK.” Now it is coming to light that the movie was very close to the truth.

A fictional account of the JFK assassination titled “Deadly Delusion” by Jim Jarman is also very close to the real truth. Jarman describes how Oswald had been groomed to be a patsy for a couple of years by a special rogue unit of the CIA with a dotted line to the Mafia. Oswald was not a marksman, but the perfect fall guy.

Marcello also admitted that it was he who had set up Jack Ruby “in the bar business in Dallas.” Ruby did his bit for the Marcello plot when he killed Lee Harvey Oswald before he could implicate anyone else. Later Ruby died in his cell just two weeks before he was scheduled to give new testimony before a Congressional investigation.

Leading up to the crime of the century was the crime of the decade. Marilyn Monroe was found naked facedown on her bed, dead. The mass media chimed in immediately with stories of her drug use. The LA coroner’s report stated that the starlet died from an overdose of barbiturates. Yet, her stomach is nearly empty with no pill residue and no vomit on her bed of floor.

The story not widely circulated for decades, was that Sam Giancana (with CIA connections) had Monroe murdered by a team of four hit men who entered her home, taped her mouth shut with duct tape and squirted a lethal suppository of barbiturates and chloral hydrate into her rectum so there would be no vomit or deposits in her stomach. Like Marcello, Giancan lost millions in casino holdings in Cuba and was enraged over the failed “Bay of Pigs fiasco.” Adding insult to injury, Bobby Kennedy was going after the Chicago and New York mafia. Let’s not forget that the Kennedy family made its fortune from Papa Kennedy, a mafia drug and rum runner from Al Capon’s days.

Marcello does not care who knows that he help orchestrate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The former mobster boss also claims that he knew Jack Ruby, and he had him kill Lee Harvey Oswald.

Malcolm Wallace who was on LBJ’s payroll for special projects for more than 10 years.  He was a “hit man” and a expert marksman who had murdered as many as 18 or 19 people for Lyndon Johnson, according to the testimony of Johnson’s mistress, Madeleine Duncan Brown. There was one unidentified fingerprint at the time of the initial investigation of the sixth floor Texas Schoolbook Depositor. Finally in 1998 this fingerprint was identified as belonging to Malcolm Wallace.

Many crucial witnesses were brutally murdered right before their scheduled appearances to testify under oath before the House Assassination Committee. On 9th August, 1984, Billie Sol Estes’ lawyer, Douglas Caddy, wrote to Stephen S. Trott at the US Department of Justice. In the letter Caddy claimed that Billie Sol Estes, Lyndon B. Johnson, Mac Wallace and Cliff Carter had been involved in the murders of Henry Marshall, George Krutilek, Harold Orr, Ike Rogers, Coleman Wade, Josefa Johnson, John Kinser and John F. Kennedy. Caddy added: “Mr. Estes is willing to testify that LBJ ordered these killings, and that he transmitted his orders through Cliff Carter to Mac Wallace, who executed the murders.

“Madeleine recalled that ” after Johnson emerged from the Murchison meeting he walked up to her, and grabbed her by the arms and whispered in her ear, “After tomorrow those S.O.B.’s, the Kennedy’s, will never embarrass me again – that’s no threat – that’s a promise.”

The next morning Kennedy and Johnson got into a heated argument over the motorcade seating arrangements. Johnson insisted that his friend Connally and his wife ride with him in the rear vehicle. When Kennedy refused, Johnson stormed out of the room in a rage.

The next morning, Johnson’s Secret Service men came up to the motor cycle police and told them that the parade rout had been changed. It would no longer be going straight down Main St. but it would be making a turn onto Houston Street. They also told the motor cycle police not to ride next to the Presidents car, but to make sure that they stayed back behind the car, so that the crowds of people (and the assassins) would have a unrestricted view of the President. Johnson also changed the order of the cars in the motorcade, instead of his car being second, he put a car load of Secret Service men between his car and the President’s.

  1. Free the JFK files! This has been a rallying cry for many citizens over the years. Oliver Stone’s 1991 film JFK closed with the following message:
A Congressional Investigation from 1976-1979 found a “probable conspiracy” in the assassination of John F. Kennedy and recommended the Justice Department investigate further. As of 1991, the Justice Department has done nothing. The files of the House Select Committee on Assassinations are locked away until the year 2029.
In the wake of the film, Congress was besieged by the public and quickly passed the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 to remedy this situation. What happened after that? Are the JFK files now all public? Was there a smoking gun in them? Is the government still hiding documents about the assassination, till 2029 or beyond?

  2. An interesting comment “Justice Department has done nothing.”, yet seems like we are still seeing articles about the Justice Department bringing actions against various peole involved in civil rights murders, some dates which go back to the early sixties or earlier….wonder why the Justice Department has done nothing further about the murder of a President… maybe we should ask our representative and senators in Congress.

    • Well that might expose the less than stellar record of the CIA in protecting the US national security interest. Then, there is that pesky problem of Dulles’ going beyond the CIA charter into nation building which undermined the Presidents’ (plural intentional) and the State Department’s foreign policy–the official word on US relations. Fact is if Dulles thought a foreign leader was a secret Communist, he had them desposed of, including murder and coups. Oddly, that fool tried to sell Eisenhower the same BS, did not change the pitch, as he later tried to sell President Kennedy. Dulles was floored when President Kennedy told him the same thing he had been told by Eisenhower which was no direct US military involvement to support the Bay of Pigs Operation.

That Operation, Dulles’ baby, was poorly conceived, logistically lacking, managed by incompetents, money and resources squandered. And, when Kennedy asked Dulles, prior to the mission actually being allowed to go, Dulles lied about the Operation’s probability for success. Then, like the leader he never was, Dulles went on vacation instead of sticking around the CIA War Room. Frankly, Dulles was a jackass and always had his own agenda. He believed his own PR. Thought Kennedy would leave him in peace, but that did not happen. Kennedy had General Maxwell Taylor, then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, invesigate Dulles and the Bay of Pigs. Gen. Taylor found Dulles to be obsfucating, detached, not recalling, and buck passing. Briefly, Gen. Taylor found Dulles to be a lying and an incompetent executive, the very reasons President Kennedy fired Dulles. But the jackass loved to take revenge from out of the shadows.

It is obvious that Oswald was plucked from the Marines to work Intelligence. He was proficient in the prime enemy’s language: Oswald could read, write and speak it, and he could read and speak Spanish. Furthermore, Oswald had a warrant rank–Hemming went to him; Oswald never went to Hemming and Helms confirmed that before the HSCA. Someone decided he could be used as a fall guy. Nothing adds up at the 50 year mark, let alone plays out the way the Warren Commission writes in its Report. The truth is American Intelligence failed in keeping President Kennedy alive and some screw up decided the Secret Service could take the hit except that did not quite work out. The Mafia is a joke–as a group, they have never kept secrets and sell out comrades and enemies when it suits their purpose. Rogues who don’t like being told what to do; don’t like being managed; engage in illegal behavior for short term and personal gain–the old game greed and power, that’s Intelligence run amok.

Spare me the BS about Oswald, nothing is falling into place regarding him as it should if he were the killer. The evidence just does not hold up. Did he kill Officer Tippit? Well, the eyewitnesses who matter at that crime scene claim two shooters, none of whom were Oswald; Did Oswald attempt to murder Gen. Walker? Well, the witnesses claim two shooters, none of whom were Oswald and a 30.06 rifle which was not what Oswald is claimed to have possessed. Did he kill President Kennedy? Too much contradictory testimony places him in the TSBD 1st floor lunchroom–the Domino Room–by passed by the WC and morphed into the 2d floor breakroom. Why screw up facts that can be verified? Well, Billy Rae got signals crossed with his work mates and went back to the 6th floor TSBD where they had been working, installing new flooring to eat a chicken lunch. Billy Rae stayed up there until 12:20 pm CST, Friday, 22 November 1963. Oswald, if anyone wants him to be the assassin, simply did not have the time to construct a sniper’s nest and then wait for the President’s motorcade. There’s plenty more exculpatory evidence in Oswald’s favor as a scapegoat. The national press never did its job of looking into this murder. They sat on their collective rumps and let the government dibble out tidbits for which they never double checked.

I have become a strong backer of James DiEugenio. The Warren Report is shoddy, poorly conceived, not thoroughly investigated. Blakey’s theory about the Mafia/Mob killing Kennedy is equally worthless.

  3. Firstly I would like to assure you that you are not dealing with a member of the Russian FSB, but if this incident was being investigated by the KGB, the first question they would ask would be WHO? followed by WHOM.

    1. WHO was Lee Harvey Oswald?

    2. By WHOM was he employed?

Lee Harvey Oswald was a highly intelligent and articulate man.

Able to learn Russian from scratch during the 1950’s and by the time he defected speak it so well he was able to pass as a native.

Perhaps somewhere in the records his wife may have mentioned whether he spoke it with a regional accent.

In any event when she first met him she was under the impression that he was Russian.

This fact needs to be properly investigated.

(Not only is Russian an extremely difficult language for foreigners to learn to speak perfectly, most of its own people are not able to speak it grammatically correctly.

Often leaving out the words for ‘a’ and ‘the’ because they are not sure which of the many different permutations they should use.

Only professors of Russian Literature are likely to speak the language without an accent of some kind.)

There is no record of him being debriefed by any government agency when he returned from his brief stint in Russia.

Like all successful intelligence agents he was a Grey Man, able to avoid giving away by appearance word or deed his real job within the USN.

Which was most likely to be surveillance of the Naval and Military personnel in the places where he was stationed.

In other words as well as interpreting the photos brought back by the U2 flights, he was also a snitch a stool pigeon.

    By Whom was he employed?

If his job was counter intelligence there were only two organisations at that time who could legally employ him.

The FBI and the ONI, since he was ex Navy I would guess that his employers were the ONI.

Bannister who he worked with, was both ex FBI and ex ONI.

As someone who had lived in the soviet union and described himself as a Marxist/Leninist, his mission would mostly be the infiltration of organisations that were pro Castro.

Maybe Oswald discovered that the people he was involved with were plotting to kill Kennedy.

When he informed the ONI, they did nothing, so he informed the FBI.

Who put out an alert to all their offices in the USA.

    WHO else was involved

    Not the CIA.

At that time and until the middle of 1964 his brother Bobby Kennedy controlled the CIA’s clandestine service.

Watching the film JFK leads me to believe that the best match for X, is Brigadier General Ed Lansdale the head of the Special Group (Augmented), and outfit formed with one purpose in mind.

To kill Castro by any means.

    Not the FBI

They put out an alert warning of an assassination attempt days before it happened.

    Not Lyndon Johnson.

He thought the Cubans did it.

That leaves only the Southern Mafia, the ONI, (both of whom had originally backed Castro and supplied him with weapons through Guevara) and the Secret Service.

How many of the Secret Servicemen who were there that day, had links to the USN?

After the recent election where groups of rightwing inbreeds shouted terrorist and kill him, I sincerely hope that this time the Secret Service at up to the job.

That is more than just a gentle hint that President elect Obama’s incoming team should re VET all of them!

By a strange coincidence my science fiction story Task Force Nine available as a download from lulu.com under literature and fiction, features the ONI involved in the Kennedy assasination http://www.lulu.com/content/5254247

    • In Oliver Stone’s JFK, the role of X wasn’t based on Brigadier General Lansdale but rather on Air Force Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty who served as a military consultant for the film.

  4. Lee Harvey Oswald — The Patsy

“The thing I am concerned about, and so is [Deputy Attorney General Nicholas] Katzenbach, is having something issued so we can convince the public that Oswald is the real assassin.” –FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, speaking on the telephone to Johnson aide Walter Jenkins two hours after Oswald was murdered by Jack Ruby, HSCA Report, vol. III, pp. 471-73. (The Warren Commission — charged with determining the truth in the JFK assassination — relied upon Hoover’s FBI as its primary investigative arm.)

“We have not been told the truth about Oswald.” –Senator Richard Russell, former Warren Commission member, conversation with researcher Harold Weisberg in 1970, Whitewash IV

“Lee Harvey Oswald is a question mark to history. The debate is often raised: ‘Was Lee Harvey Oswald alone as the assassin, or was he part of a conspiracy?’ The question is never raised: ‘Is it possible he didn’t do it at all?'” –Robert Groden, assassination researcher, interviewed by Nigel Turner for the documentary, The Men Who Killed Kennedy: Part 4

    Oswald Framed by the CIA

Oswald is interviewed by the news media after his arrest. Oswald declared, “I’m just a patsy.”

The following transcribed text is from the documentary, The Men Who Killed Kennedy: Part 4.

NARRATOR: One person with no illusions about Oswald’s role [as a patsy for JFK’s real killers] launched his own investigation into the Kennedy assassination in 1967, the former District Attorney of New Orleans, Judge Jim Garrison.

GARRISON: [Oswald] was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency and was obviously drawn into a scapegoat situation and made to believe ultimately that he was penetrating the assassination. And then when the time came, they took the scapegoat — the man who thought he was working for the United States government — and killed him real quick. And then the machinery, disinformation machinery, started turning and they started making a villain out of a man who genuinely was probably a hero.

NARRATOR: Six months before the assassination, Oswald had taken a mundane job [in New Orleans] with the Reily Coffee Company. But it seems his real activities were centered a few blocks away. From a small office on the corner of Lafayette and Camp Street, Oswald managed a local chapter of the pro-Castro Fair Play For Cuba Committee. Operating from an adjoining office was a sinister figure named Guy Banister.

    Guy Banister

Guy Banister — Former FBI Agent and Naval Intelligence Operative. Also a Member of the Minutemen, the John Birch Society, the Louisiana Committee on Un-American Activities, and Publisher of the Racist Louisiana Intelligence Digest

GARRISON: Guy Banister — it’s difficult to say much about him, because he always stood in the shadows and pushed someone else to the front. He was a strongly disciplined man, perhaps the outgrowth of his many years as a special agent in charge of the Chicago office of the FBI. But he was a key man in the assassination, and that’s clear from the fact that Oswald’s “sheep-dipping” — his being portrayed as a Communist — was done out of Guy Banister’s office. So he was sheep-dipped for months as a Communist by giving literature: “Lee, hand this out today. This is your assignment.”

I came across the fact that Oswald, a private in the Marines, had taken a Russian examination. And I knew that privates did not take Russian examinations unless they were connected with intelligence. So that caused me to be curious about 544 Camp, which was the address stamped on one circular that he gave out one time before, obviously, Banister told him, “Lee, no more addresses.” It turned out that was a side address of Guy Banister’s private detective agency.

    Oswald in New Orleans

Oswald distributing pro-Castro literature in front of Clay Shaw’s International Trade Mart at 124 Camp Street, a stone’s throw away from Guy Banister’s 544 Camp Street office, August 16, 1963.

Well I went down there to look at it, and I found myself not merely outside of Guy Banister’s office, but across the street from Naval Intelligence, across the street from Secret Service, around the corner was the Crescent City Garage, the garage for the intelligence community and then, two doors away, the Reily Coffee Company. I used to be in the FBI. I knew people in Naval Intelligence and they were either across the street, around the corner — the whole intelligence community was there, and right in the middle of it was Guy Banister having Oswald sheep-dipped as a Communist….

When the President ends up being assassinated and the scapegoat grabbed by the federal government, and killed before anything can be done to help him, turns out to be the man that Guy Banister had been the tutor of all the time, you have to conclude that Guy Banister was a key man in the assassination, and possibly the most important man that we encountered in our whole investigation. But he’s been dead so many years it’s a little hard to question him.

Was Oswald a spy? After reviewing all available evidence, the answer to the question seems to be a resounding “yes.” The following is a quick look at some of the evidence pointing to Oswald’s involvement with spy work:

    * His childhood — a bright loner who read a wide range of books and was drawn to unpopular ideas, attracted by spy stories (the TV show “I Led Three Lives” and Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels were among his favorites) — perfectly fits the profile of persons most desired for intelligence work.
    * Oswald’s Marine career is checkered with inconsistencies and unexplained events that suggest secret intelligence training.
    * His assignment to Atsugi base in Japan, which housed a large CIA facility.
    * Oswald’s incredible ability with the Russian language. Several Russians, including his wife, said he spoke like a native, yet this high-school dropout reportedly taught himself Russian from books.
    * The fact that several persons — including a former CIA paymaster, Oswald’s Marine roommate, and fellow Marine Gerry Patrick Hemming — have suggested that Oswald worked for U.S. intelligence.
    * The manner in which Oswald traveled so easily in and out of Russia as well as the unaccounted-for funds he used suggests intelligence guidance.
    * The ability of this American “defector” to leave the Soviet Union with his Russian-born wife at a time when most Russians were being denied exit permits.
    * The ease with which this would-be defector obtained passports both in 1959 and 1963.
    * The fact that Oswald wrote a lengthy report on his activities in Russia and, later, made a detailed report to the FBI concerning his Fair Play For Cuba activities in New Orleans.
    * Oswald’s notebook contained the word “microdots,” a common spy technique of photographically reducing information to a small dot.
    * Oswald’s nonbinding “defection” to Russia fits perfectly the profile of an Office of Naval Intelligence program to infiltrate American servicemen into the Soviet Union during the late 1950’s.
    * One of Oswald’s closest contacts, George DeMohrenschildt, was himself an intelligence operative, first for the Nazis and later for the CIA.
    * One of the strongest pieces of evidence for Oswald’s involvement in spy work concerns a small Minox camera found among his effects by Dallas Police. Information developed by the Dallas Morning News in 1978 revealed the camera was not available to the public in 1963. It may have been spy equipment issued to Oswald. This evidence was so explosive that the FBI tried to get Dallas detectives to change their reports regarding the camera and also kept photos taken by Oswald hidden for nearly fifteen years…. Detective Rose told the Dallas Morning News: “[FBI agents] were calling it a light meter, I know that. But I know a camera when I see it…. The thing we got at Irving out of Oswald’s seabag was a Minox camera. No question about it. They tried to get me to change the records because it wasn’t a light meter. I don’t know why they wanted it changed, but they must have had some motive for it.” The motive may have been that the existence of the camera pointed to Oswald’s intelligence connections…. The three-inch-long German-made camera was famous for being used by spies on both sides during World War II.

“The Report of the Warren Commission infers that Oswald somehow must have learned Russian on his own, ostensibly in preparation for his forthcoming defection. Actually, Oswald was taught Russian by the United States government, as is indicated by Lieutenant Colonel Folsom’s testimony during which he happened to refer to one of Oswald’s grades in a U.S. Armed Forces Russian examination (Volume VIII, p. 307). The formal designation for this Russian examination was “Department of the Army, Adjutant General’s Office, PRT-157. Oswald took the Russian examination on February 25, 1959, while stationed at El Toro Marine Base in California.” –Jim Garrison, District Attorney of New Orleans, Press Release, February 21, 1968

“On at least two separate occasions, Banister employees saw Oswald handing out pro-Castro literature and reported it to their boss. In one instance Banister simply laughed, and on the other, he told his secretary Delphine Roberts: ‘Don’t worry about him…. He’s with us. He’s associated with the office.’ Roberts also said she saw Oswald at 544 Camp Street, and that he filled out one of Banister’s ‘agent’ application forms. She later told author Anthony Summers: ‘Oswald came back a number of times. He seemed to be on familiar terms with Banister and with the office.'” –Jim Marrs, Crossfire: The Plot that Killed Kennedy

“They are the most ruthless motherf—ers there are and if they want to get somebody, they will. They will do their own people up.” –David Sanchez Morales, talking about the CIA, (Morales was the Chief of Operations at the CIA station in Miami — JM/WAVE — and a consultant to the Deputy Director of the Joint Chiefs), Gaeton Fonzi, The Last Investigation

“We do know Oswald had intelligence connections. Everywhere you look with him, there’re fingerprints of intelligence.” –Republican Senator Richard Schweiker, member of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Village Voice, December 15, 1975

“The question of whether Oswald had any relationship with the FBI or the CIA is not frivolous. The agencies, of course, are silent. Although the Warren Commission had full power to conduct its own independent investigation, it permitted the FBI and the CIA to investigate themselves — and so cast a permanent shadow on the answers.” –Walter Cronkite, CBS News anchor, June 28, 1967

“If he had it to do over again, he would begin his investigation of the Kennedy assassination by probing ‘Oswald’s ties to the Central Intelligence Agency.'” –Richard Sprague, first staff director and chief counsel to the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations, statement to Sam Anson of New Times magazine, Gaeton Fonzi, The Last Investigation

“[Lee Oswald’s mother] Mrs. Marguerite Oswald frequently expressed the opinion that her son was recruited by an agency of the U.S. Government and sent to Russia in 1959, but she stated before the Commission that ‘I cannot prove Lee is an agent.'” –Warren Commission Report, Appendix XII: Speculations and Rumors, Oswald and U.S. Government Agencies, p. 660

“[Former CIA Director Richard] Helms told reporters during a break that no one would ever know who or what Lee Harvey Oswald … represented. Asked whether the CIA knew of any ties Oswald had with either the KGB or the CIA, Helms paused and with a laugh said, ‘I don’t remember.'” –Helms, chatting with the Washington Post’s George Lardner and other reporters in 1978, during a recess of the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations, Gaeton Fonzi, The Last Investigation

“After the assassination the public was burdened with no quandary. Wherever the guilt really lay, the man identified as killing President Kennedy was stamped as a disciple of the extreme left. Rightly or wrongly, the political left was implicitly convicted along with Oswald. Was that verdict just, or were Oswald and his apparent heroes victims of a vicious double-cross by forces of the extreme right?” –Anthony Summers, Not in Your Lifetime

“I no longer believe that we were able to conduct an appropriate investigation of the [Central Intelligence] Agency and its relationship to Oswald…. I do not believe any denial offered by the Agency on any point. The law has long followed the rule that if a person lies to you on one point, you may reject all of his testimony…. We now know that the Agency withheld from the Warren Commission the CIA-Mafia plots to kill Castro. Had the commission known of the plots, it would have followed a different path in its investigation…. We also now know that the Agency set up a process that could only have been designed to frustrate the ability of the committee in 1976-79 to obtain any information that might adversely affect the Agency. Many have told me that the culture of the Agency is one of prevarication and dissimulation and that you cannot trust it or its people. Period. End of story. I am now in that camp.” –Robert Blakey, staff director and chief counsel for the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations, statement from 2003

“I have felt, I always felt, a sympathy for Oswald, and I just don’t feel it’s right that he would be, or his children should be, stuck with that stigma, that’s all.” –Chauncey Holt, CIA contract agent and Mafia associate (also identified as one of the “three tramps” photographed in Dealey Plaza), video interview, 20 June 1997

“Lee Oswald was totally, unequivocally, completely innocent of the assassination. And the fact that history … has been made a villain of this young man, who wanted nothing more than to be a fine Marine, is in some ways the greatest injustice of all.” –Jim Garrison, interviewed by Nigel Turner for the documentary, The Men Who Killed Kennedy: Part 4

    Oswald — Framed

  6. Gentlemen–

I wouldn’t disagree with your assessments at all, but I would point something out. Oswald, as a Marine, would have been a natural recruit for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) because of his high fluency in the Russian language. The parent intelligence organization for ONI was the Defense Intelligence Agency which owes its first allegience to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, not the Director of Central Intelligence.

Why this point? I believe in letting the culprit wear the albatros, that personage being none other than Richard Helms who was Deputy Director of the CIA for Covert Operations (1962-65). Helms was the CIA liasion to the WC and did all in his power to stymie the Commission’s investigation into LHO and his links to the intelligence community.

Interestingly, the HSCA asked Helms “Why the CIA did not interview Lee Oswald on his return to the US after his abortive defection to Soviet Russia?” Helms replied that “‘military officers’ were under the authority and jurisdiction of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the military service branch represented,” in this case, ONI.

Officially, Oswald was an enlisted Marine; however, that Oswald was believed to have been a CIA agent is supported by (1) an FBI memorandum the HSCA discovered. This memo states, “We (the FBI) did not know definitively whether or not Oswald had any active intelligence assignments at that time.” Helms’ statement to the HSCA gets legs in the following:

In March 1978, James Wilcott, a CIA paymaster (financial analyst), of longstanding, told the HSCA that shortly after President Kennedy’s murder, a CIA case officer told him that Lee Oswald was an undercover agent of the CIA at the time of his alleged defection to Russia; Langley HQ brought Oswald home because the Soviets never bought his defection story.” Wilcott went on to add that the CIA had a hold over LHO because of some major crime he had committed, possibly a murder.

  7. The above leads to a query. Who paid LHO?

    Background:

22 January 1964 Texas Attorney General Waggoner Car calls WC General Counsel J. Lee Rankin.

Car reported information that LHO was a recruited Confidential Informant (CI) for the FBI (does not negate work as an agent for intelligence, probably enhances his attractiveness as a CI to the FBI) in Sept. 1962. Further, LHO was paid $200 per month and had the assigned number S-179–Dallas District Attorney Henry Wade is the attributed source for this information.

Additionally, Henry Wade had information that LHO was a CIA “informant” and his case number was 110669–this was confirmed by James Wilcott before the HSCA years later.

An Executive Session of the WC was called by Chief Justice Earl Warren, as Chair of the Commission. Curiously, Allen Dulles, the Kennedy-fired CIA director was a member of the WC, during this session to consider the agent/CI angle on LHO is baffling. This jerkoff claimed he did not know the difference in pay designations for an agent and for a CI.

Then, there is Marine Sgt. Gerry Patrick Hemming who believed LHO to be an intelligent agent like himself, recruited out of the military.

The conclusion is that LHO was functioning as an intelligence agent, most likely for ONI and DIA, fed some of his gathered intelligence to the CIA and functioned as a CI for the FBI. His case officer at ONI/DIA may have told him he was looking for an infiltrator.

  8. Another query arises: What LE and intelligence groups were active in apprehending the infiltrator?

LHO @ the Crescent Garage, owned and managed by Alba who befriended LHO.

Note the following presences in or near the Garage in the early 1960’s:

The Garage maintained the US government fleet cars and would check those cars out to federal government employees on the approved list.

    Secret Service
    US Army Intelligence
    Defense Intelligence Agency
    Office of Naval Intelligence

Later, known to be shadowing LHO and working a lead, the FBI and the CIA independently of each other of course.

Oswald was employed at William Reilly Coffee Co. at this time. Nearby was a NASA program. LHO’s assignment may have involved getting background on a Russian espionage scheme. Several of his associates at Reilly Coffee went to work later for this NASA program. LHO would have been checking security of the NASA program and perhaps a sub-technology for US missile defense.

The Secret Service and US Army 112th Military Intelligence Group have a special relationship
–this body supplements and backs up the SS White House security detail in the field

Army Intelligence was checking college campuses in the 1960’s; Did Army Intelligence ask DIA to participate in these background checks?

Everyone needs to know the truth about Benghazi

This is a verified true story on Benaghzi as written by Cynthia Myers whose cousin was one of the ones killed there. The second part was written by Dr. Charles Roots–Senior Pastor, US Navy Chaplin Corps ( ret). They are heart breaking stories of the events that have been covered up. Dear God, please be with our brave men and women serving our country over there. Walt
Read carefully and please pass on. May the truth be told.

“Here is my story. A week out the Embassy in Tripoli began receiving multiple tips about an Al Queda cell in the area planning an attack on 9/11 in response to to the killing of Bin Laden. For the next several days, the state dept and WH were asked for a security force and were denied at least six times.. Ambassador Stevens and his team were given the all clear that the Consulate in Benghazi was safe and there was no need for a security force other than his 3 personal guards(One being my cousin) and a few Libyans who were not armed.

Then the attack and murders occurred. Immediately the WH claimed it was a protest gone bad over a you tube video. Obama made a quick speech in the Rose Garden on Sept.12 before catching a plane to Vegas to campaign. He made a generic statement at the end of his speech after placing the blame on an overheated protest over the video. He said “No act of terror will shake the resolve of America. Later that day and over the next 2 days, the liberal media began saying Ambassador Stevens and the other 3 men died of smoke inhalation. This was not the case. Out of respect for my cousin, I’m not going to be specific about his murder. However Ambassador Stevens was brutally murdered. His genitals were cut off, he was sodomized and beaten and cut and stabbed and burned. He was drag thru the streets and left for dead. This is eyewitness testimony of a local Dr. who found the Ambassador in a ditch and tried to save his life. He had no idea who he was. The other 3 men, including my cousin, met similar fates. And deaths due to smoke inhalation is a 100% fabricated LIE. The next week I drove my aunt and Uncle and 2 others to DC to receive his body. We met with Hillary, Panetta, and Susan Rice. ALL of whom apologized and said it was a protest gone bad over a video and exited the area. Next Obama entered with the same story and didn’t apologize and wasn’t sympathetic. My aunt cried to this man and all he did was hand her flowers and walk away. I tried to get his attention, but didn’t. I got upset and yelled liar to him, he kept walking. Then a secret service agent grabbed my arm and led me to a room where I was held till the proceedings were over.

America, I saw firsthand how cold this man is. What kind of liar he is. Most of you haven’t a clue about this tyrant and yet you support him. And act like every word he says is Gospel. These murders and the fast and furious cover ups make water gate look like, a kid who told his bff’s secret to the class.

We must stop this man, and please pass this story along.
      — God Bless America!

THIS PART YOU DON’T KNOW, BUT SHOULD.
      AMERICAN VALOR, BENGHAZI, LIBYA:

The stunning part of this story is that Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty killed 60 of the attacking force. Once the compound was overrun, the attackers were incensed to discover that just two men had inflicted so much death and destruction.

The news has been full of the attacks on our embassies throughout the Muslim world, and in particular, the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others in Benghazi, Libya. However, there’s a little known story of incredible bravery, heroics, and courage that should be the top story.

So what actually happened at the U.S. embassy in Libya? We are learning more about this every day. Ambassador Stevens and Foreign Service officer Sean Smith, along with administrative staff, were working out of temporary quarters due to the fact that in the spring of 2011 during the so-called Arab Spring, the United States cut ties with then president Moammar Gadhafi. Our embassy was looted and ransacked, causing it to be unusable. It is still in a state of disrepair.

Security for embassies and their personnel is to be provided by the host nation. Since Libya has gone through a civil war of sorts in the past 18 months, the current government is very unstable, and therefore, unreliable.

A well-organized attack by radical Muslims was planned specifically targeting the temporary U.S. embassy building. The Libyan security force that was in place to protect our people deserted their post, or joined the attacking force. Either way, our people were in a real fix. And it should be noted that Ambassador Stevens had mentioned on more than one occasion to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, that he was quite concerned for his personal safety and the welfare of his people. It is thought that Ambassador Stevens was on a “hit list”.

A short distance from the American compound, two Americans were sleeping. They were in Libya as independent contractors working an assignment totally unrelated to our embassy. They also happened to be former Navy Seals.

When they heard the noise coming from the attack on our embassy, as you would expect from highly trained warriors, they ran to the fight. Apparently, they had no weapons, but seeing the Libyan guards dropping their guns in their haste in fleeing the scene, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty snatched up several of these discarded weapons and prepared to defend the American compound.

Not knowing exactly what was taking place, the two Seals set up a defensive perimeter. Unfortunately Ambassador Stevens was already gravely injured, and Foreign Service officer, Sean Smith, was dead. However, due to their quick action and suppressive fire, twenty administrative personnel in the embassy were able to escape to safety. Eventually, these two courageous men were overwhelmed by the sheer numbers brought against them, an enemy force numbering between 100 to 200 attackers which came in two waves. But the stunning part of the story is that Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty killed 60 of the attacking force. Once the compound was overrun, the attackers were incensed to discover that just two men had inflicted so much death and destruction.

As it became apparent to these selfless heroes, they were definitely going to lose their lives unless some reinforcements showed up in a hurry. As we know now, that was not to be. I’m fairly certain they knew they were going to die in this gun fight, but not before they took a whole lot of bad guys with them!

Consider these tenets of the Navy SEAL Code:
      1) Loyalty to Country, Team and Teammate,
      2) Serve with Honor and Integrity On and Off the Battlefield,
      3) Ready to Lead, Ready to Follow, Never Quit,
      4) Take responsibility for your actions and the actions of your teammates,
      5) Excel as Warriors through Discipline and Innovation,
      6) Train for War, Fight to Win, Defeat our Nation’s Enemies, and…
      7) Earn your Trident every day

Thank you, Tyrone and Glen. To the very last breath, you both lived up to the SEAL Code. You served all of us well. You were courageous in the face of certain death.
And Tyrone, even though you never got to hold your newborn son, he will grow up knowing the character and quality of his father, a man among men who sacrificed himself defending others.

  10. The above item on Benghazi has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion which concerns the assassination of President Kennedy and whether or not Lee Oswald was his assassin or not. Shameless stumping for Tea Party stooges.

    • The Benghazi coverup shows how powerful the Democratic Party media dominance continues. Thanks to citizen journalists, Twitter, and blogs, that power is fading.

      • Well than your remarks clearly indicate that you know you are off subject here as well as a concession that Tea Party members are stooges of international corporations. Next, you are the one who brought up Benghazi on this particular blog. No one else. Judging from the lack of support for your earlier remark, no other reader believes you. Go back and play patty cake with Sen. Cruz, the Joe McCarthy clone.

    10) Watch “The Men Who Killed Kennedy – the Guilty Men – episode 9” at YouTube –
best video ever on the JFK assassination; covers well Lyndon Johnson’s role
    11) Google the essay “LBJ-CIA Assassination of JFK” by Robert Morrow
    11) Google “National Security State and the Assassination of JFK by Andrew Gavin Marshall.”
    12) Google “Chip Tatum Pegasus.” Intimidation of Ross Perot 1992
    13) Google “Vincent Salandria False Mystery Speech.” Read every book & essay Vincent Salandria ever wrote.
    14) Google “Unanswered Questions as Obama Annoints HW Bush” by Russ Baker
    16) Google “Did the Bushes Help to Kill JFK” by Wim Dankbaar
    17) Google “The Holy Grail of the JFK story” by Jefferson Morley

    • Thank you for this list, Robert. I believe that the truth behind JFK’s assassination, that the Mafia, a rogue element of the CIA, Dallas Police Dept. and the ring leader, LBJ and his inner circle, killed the president and blamed a CIA operative, patsy, Lee Harvey Oswald. The ugly truth is coming out, that Democrats killed Lincoln and JFK.

  12. Leslie charteris in his 1947 story ‘dawn’ fingered the gang of Oswald,Mac and the boss who operated night clubs and pulled the trigger of a .38.
