No wonder why trust in the media is at record lows, like temperatures.
ABC News’ anchorman of the news and host of This Week with
George Stephanopoulos, is on a daily morning conference call with Rahm Emanuel and others from the old Clinton administration, now in the media. Web site Politico broke the news that
Stephanopoulos is currently conducting private, daily
phone briefings with Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.
This is unethical journalism and a clear
conflict of interest. How can Stephanopoulos participate
in daily briefings about the administration’s strategy and
message and then be charged with reporting on them?
Update: Feb. 4: A White House reporter, so infatuated with the new president, jumped out of line and begged for Obama’s autograph today. At the end of the SCHIP signing, a member of the press corps jumped the rope penning off reporters to get an autograph from POTUS. Secret Service swooped in and stopped him. An Obama aide said the man is still being held by Secret Service. No details yet on the reporter’s name or publication. — Carol E. Lee

The Rod Blagojevich tapes started on Oct. 22, more than a year after the investigations started. Yet, no mention from the media until weeks after the election

Governor Rod Blagojevich gave a press confernence Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. announcing his side of the story for the first time.
“I’m hear to tell you right off the bat that I am not guilty of any criminal wrongdoing and that I intend to stay on the job and that I will fight this thing every step of the way,” said Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D-Ill.) proclaimed his innocence in the opening volley of a statement delivered at the John R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago this afternoon.
“I will fight, I will fight, I will fight, until I take my last breath,” he continued. “I have done nothing wrong.”
I believe him. I don’t think he did anything wrong. What about Obama’s chief of staff?
President-elect Barack Obama’s incoming chief of staff Rahm Emanuel had a deeper involvement in pressing for a U.S. Senate seat appointment than previously reported, the Sun-Times has learned. Emanuel had direct discussions about the seat with Gov. Blagojevich, who is is accused of trying to auction it to the highest bidder. — Reported by the Chicago Sun-Times (not the Tribune).
We know now that hundreds of hours of conversations involving Rod Blagojevich and the top levels of the Democrat Party, were secretly recorded by the FBI since Oct. 22, and Tribune jounalists didn’t mention it — not until after the election of course. Wouldn’t the citizens of America have been better served if they knew about the investigation before the election?
But it gets more interesting.
It appears there was a marathon conference call on Nov. 10, with Blago getting all kinds action from the Obama and Chicago Democrat machine. This must have been big. Really big. Because someone tipped off the Tribune to announce to the world about the wire tap and the Obama lock down began. But this was before Blagojevich and Obama’s team exchanged favors, so no crime was committed. The Tribune got a call, from who? Could it be Tony Rezco (the former Tribune editor) to expose the wire tap before Obama’s team made the payoff? Who gave the Tribune the call to spill the beans?
A WSJ report on Dec. 14 states that the Tribune knew about the wire in October and was working with Pat Fitzgerald’s office on withholding the story.

Anniversary of JFK assassination Nov. 22, 1963
It’s the 45th anniversary of the JFK assassination in Dallas, Texas. The names connected have come to light after nearly half a century: LBJ, Clay Shaw, Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, Fidel Castro, Schlumberger Tool Co, General Dynamics, Woody Harrleson Sr., The Texas Book Depository, Elm Street, Warren Commission, mafia, pro-democracy Cubans and the USSR.
There are still thousands of pages of testimony and evidence locked up until 2038. Often, the truth leaks out anyway.
This is what we know:
Oswald was well trained in Russian, a U.S. Marine who was allowed to leave the military early becuase of a family hardship. WIthin weeks he defected to the USSR. He was brought back to the U.S. with a Russian bride. This shows he was “liked” by the U.S. Special Forces.
After 10 hours of questioning at DPD headquarters, there were no recordings or notes.
What was Oswald saying that was so controversial that notes were not kept?
Then, Oswald repeats “I’m a patsy. I didn’t shoot the president.”

Close to 50 eye witnesses to the shooting said there were four to five shots. One witness was hit with a bullet fragment in the face. Several people pointed to a gun shot, smoke and a flash of light behind a picket fence next to the railroad bridge.

A decade after LBJ’s death, a friend of Estes, a federal marshal, talked Estes into coming forward with what he knew about Henry Marshall’s death. Then on August 9, 1984, following Billie Sol Estes’ grand jury testimonyregarding Mac Wallace’s murder of Henry Marshall, Estes’ attorney, Douglas Caddy sent a letter to Stephen S. Trott, Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Division, of the US Department of Justice. The letter

The dealings had been too many to keep quiet with a quick “Texas suicide.” LBJ wasn’t just looking at the end of his political career; he was looking at hard time.

Cliff Carter and Mac Wallace.
In addition, a short time after Mr. Estes was released from prison in 1971, he met with Cliff Carter and they reminisced about what had occurred in the past, including the murders. During their conversation, Carter spoke of a list of 17 murders which had been committed, some of which Mr. Estes was unfamiliar with. A living witness was present at that meeting and should be willing to testify about it. He is Kyle Brown, recently of Houston and now living in Brady, Texas. . .

Don’t you find it repulsive the way “leaders” like Hillary talk so slow and dumb down their speeches. You know that the Harvard grad speaks a mile a minute with her elitist friends at cocktail parties.
Getting back to her speech and slide show showing baby pictures… WTF?
You missed Hillary’s little sideshow. She pointed out the son and wife of two of her super delegates who died within the last 10 days, one of gunshots, the other was found in her car (brain dead from a stroke).
Then she mentioned a cancer victim she met who wrote “Hillary” on her bald head who didn’t have medical coverage and was pleading for Universal Health Care. Well, how was she getting treatment? She actually was getting chemo treatments from a local clinic.
She failed to mention another similar incident on the campaign trail. Remember the man that came into her headquarters (Hillary was in another state) with a bomb and gun asking to speak with Hillary about getting more federal government help for mental patients. The life-long Democrat is locked up now receiving medication.
Ugly racism behind the flight attendant’s lawsuit against Victoria Osteen
Victoria Osteen, the wife of Joel Osteen, best selling author and pastor of the Lakewood mega church was sued by a flight attendant. A jury returned a verdict of innocent, no incident took place.
“If I had to go through this, I could at least be an example of trying to live out what’s right, trying to stand strong and trying to just keep my faith intact,” she said. “I stood strong because I believe in the truth,” she told an AP reporter after the trial.
Victoria Osteen said she never touched Continental Airlines flight attendant Sharon Brown and a jury on Thursday believed her, deciding that the co-pastor of Houston’s Lakewood Church did not “attack” the airline employee. Here are some facts that were left out of the coverage in the mainstream media.
Sharon Brown is an African American who according to co-workers was jumping on the opportunity to embarrass the Osteens into settling out of court for six figures. Brown’s attorney was most likely working on contingency.
The frivolous lawsuit was started while the Duke lacrosse team travesty was taking place.
The dirty secret that has been kept out of the reporting, is that there is in deed racism in America; the “get whitey” brand.
After the jury’s verdict, which came following a week-long trial, Victoria Osteen began to cry and hugged her attorneys and several supporters in the courtroom as she said “thank you God” and “praise God.” The 12 jurors deliberated for just 2 hours.
Brown had testified Victoria Osteen got so upset when a spill on her first-class seat’s armrest was not quickly cleaned up that she threw the flight attendant against a bathroom door and elbowed her in the left breast while attempting to rush into the cockpit.
But Victoria Osteen testified no such incident took place, as did her husband and other first-class passengers. No body saw that dramatic attack in a crowded first class section.
Brown quickly left the courtroom without talking to reporters.
She had been seeking at least $405,000 for actual damages — physical and mental pain as a result of an attack she alleged took place before the start of a December 2005 flight from Houston to Vail, Colo.
The jury’s foreman, Gilles Labbe, said he and other jurors believed what happened on the plane was not an attack but a disagreement between a passenger and one or more flight attendants.
“This lawsuit in my opinion should not have been filed because nothing happened,” he said.
“It’s a great vindication …” he said.
In his closing argument earlier Thursday, Rusty Hardin, Victoria Osteen’s attorney, dismissed Brown’s lawsuit as a made-up story concocted to land a courtroom payday.
In his closing argument, McKamie told jurors that because of Victoria Osteen’s status as a religious leader, she felt she had “favor from God.” That led her to believe she was above reproach for humiliating and assaulting his client, he said.
Besides money for actual damages, Brown had requested punitive damages amounting to 10 percent of Victoria Osteen’s net worth as part of her lawsuit. He said it’s just the sliver of the amount of a Monet painting… That’s all.
Can a victim be injected with cancer cells as a form of assassination?
Ted Kennedy was one of Obama’s first and most loyal endorsers, does the timing of Senator Kennedy’s seizure strike you as an odd coincidence, coming as the Hillary Rodham Clinton machine wins by double digits in West Virginia and is about to do the same in Kentucky? What if, Hillary wins back to back victories and Obama remains stalled. With Kennedy out of the way, the Clinton machine may have the momentum to win with the super-delegates now. Kennedy just days ago said there is no way Hillary would be picked for Obama’s VP.
Jack Ruby died of a stroke due to an undiagnosed form of agressive cancer, just weeks after he agreed to testify before Congress about the JFK assassination. Come on, don’t go there.

The day before the JFK assassination, November 21st at noontime in Assistant District Attorney Ben Ellis’ office in front of 6 others, Ruby introduced himself to Ben Ellis and told Mr. Ellis, “You probably don’t know me now, but you will.” ( quoting report to Chief Curry from Lt W.F. Dyson – Dallas archives )
Ruby paid off a colored employee and said: “You had better get it all tonight, because I won’t be around.” Ruby then went to the Police station on Friday night, the 22nd, posed as a writer or interpreter for Jewish newspaper people, and on the 3rd floor of the police department tried to kill Oswald but could not get the opportunity.(Verified by HUDKINS, reporter of the Houston Post.) The wife of Yitzhak Rabin, Leah Rabin, revealed in a biography, that Rabin was in Dallas when Kennedy was assassinated. There is little doubt that Ruby was connected to Rabin and Israel during those moments he was seeking to kill Oswald. “Yes, Rabin could have been one of the “journalists,” writes Jewish author BARRY CHAMISH.
According to the Houston Post, and/or Houston Chronicle, after Ruby had finally seized the opportunity to kill Oswald at 11:21 AM on Sunday morning, the 24th, shortly after, he blurted out that he and others were going to be “the cause of the death of 25 million Jews,” meaning …if the investigators could figure it out.
Ruby’s phoney story: he was “relieving Jackie Kennedy to have to come to Dallas to testify.” But later he said: “the world will never know – nor would they believe – what took place here” and “take me to Washington DC and I will tell you all that I know. I cannot say anything here, I am the only one left that can tell you everything.” Then Ruby conveniently died of “Lung Cancer”. Maybe.
Ruby was noted for blurting out INCRIMINATING STATEMENTS. Many believed that he could not hold a secret or be trusted.
“When they brought in the death penalty, he cracked. Ten days later he rammed his head into a cell wall. Then he tried to kill himself with an electric light socket. Then he tried to hang himself with sheets.”
Then they just helped him do it with “lung cancer”, at age 55. Ruby told his family that he was injected with cancer cells. He had to go, just like Oswald, to conceal the truth.
We will never know the real answer.
Obama gets Kennedy endorsements and doubles Hillary’s votes in South Carolina

This is a big story being downplayed by the Hillary Clinton machine and mainstream media which they pander to. In fact, Bill Clinton tried to persuade Ted and Caroline to hold off on their endorsements.
Why hold off on their own opinions? So that the Hillary machine can try and interfere in the big rust belt states and California to put up a final firewall against Barack Obama?
Senator Edward Kennedy will endorse Barack Obama for president tomorrow, breaking his year-long neutrality to send a powerful signal of where the Massachusetts Democrat elder sees his party going — and who he thinks should lead it.
Kennedy aids told the Boston Globe Sunday that the Bay State’s senior senator will appear with Obama and Kennedy’s niece, Caroline Kennedy, at a morning rally at American University in Washington tomorrow to announce his support.
This comes after Saturday’s triumphant win for Obama and very poor showing for Hillary and Edwards in South Carolina.
Obama is ahead on all convention-bound delegates awarded so far in primaries and caucuses. That’s because each state has its own method of counting votes cast into the awarding of pledged delegates. In Iowa, Obama got 38 percent of the vote to Clinton’s 30 percent, but that translated into only 16 delegates to Clinton’s 15. In New Hampshire, Clinton got 39 percent to Obama’s 37 percent. That translated into a delegate tie, with each candidate awarded nine delegates. In Nevada, Clinton got 51 percent to Obama’s 45 percent. That translated into 13 delegates for Obama and only 12 for Clinton, according to the Associated Press, a finding backed up by the chairman of the Nevada Democratic Party. That was because Obama did much better all over Nevada, while Hillary only did well in Las Vegas where her union bosses took charge. Now South Carolina gives 25 voting delegates to Obama in his landslide victory. Obama is well ahead. But is the mainstream media reporting this?
Obama is winning.
Next, the Clinton machine is trying to change the Democrat party rules in the middle of the game. She will try and win in Florida even though the party has decided against awarding any delegates to candidates in the Florida primary. That was a penalty for Florida’s delegates taking That is dirty machine politics and another blatant attempt to illegally win an election.
