It’s time to stop the global warming propaganda machine while we still have freedom of speech

A few years ago was when Freeman Dyson, one of the world’s leading physicists, began publicly stating his doubts about global warming and backing them up. Tip: The socialists have changed the term from global warming to “climate change.” Watch the tea parties around the counrty for political climate change.

Speaking at a summit on the future at Boston University, Dyson said that “all the fuss about global warming is grossly exaggerated.” Since then he has only heated up his misgivings, declaring in a 2007 interview with Salon.com that “the fact that the climate is getting warmer doesn’t scare me at all” and writing in an essay for The New York Review of Books, the left-leaning publication, that climate change has become an “obsession” — the primary article of faith for “a worldwide secular religion” known as environmentalism.
Among those he considers to have been drinking the KoolAid, Dyson has been particularly dismissive of Al Gore, whom Dyson calls climate change’s “chief propagandist,” and James Hansen, a government (tax-payer funded) employee of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York and an adviser to Gore’s film, “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Dyson accuses them of relying too heavily on computer-generated climate models that foresee a Grand Guignol of imminent world devastation as icecaps melt, oceans rise and storms and plagues sweep the earth, and he blames the pair’s “lousy science” for “distracting public attention” from “more serious and more immediate dangers to the planet.”
William Gray, hurricane expert and head of the Tropical Meteorology Project at Colorado State University, in a 2005 interview with Discover magazine:
“I’m not disputing that there has been global warming. There was a lot of global warming in the 1930s and ’40s, and then there was a slight global cooling from the middle ’40s to the early ’70s. And there has been warming since the middle ’70s, especially in the last 10 years. But this is natural, due to ocean circulation changes and other factors. It is not human induced.
“Nearly all of my colleagues who have been around 40 or 50 years are skeptical as hell about this whole global-warming thing. But no one asks us. If you don’t know anything about how the atmosphere functions, you will of course say, ‘Look, greenhouse gases are going up, the globe is warming, they must be related.’ Well, just because there are two associations, changing with the same sign, doesn’t mean that one is causing the other.”
Richard Lindzen, professor of meteorology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in an editorial last April for The Wall Street Journal:
“To understand the misconceptions perpetuated about climate science and the climate of intimidation, one needs to grasp some of the complex underlying scientific issues. First, let’s start where there is agreement. The public, press and policy makers have been repeatedly told that three claims have widespread scientific support: Global temperature has risen about a degree since the late 19th century; levels of CO2 [carbon dioxide] in the atmosphere have increased by about 30 percent over the same period; and CO2 should contribute to future warming.
“These claims are true. However, what the public fails to grasp is that the claims neither constitute support for alarm nor establish man’s responsibility for the small amount of warming that has occurred. In fact, those who make the most outlandish claims of alarm are actually demonstrating skepticism of the very science they say supports them. It isn’t just that the alarmists are trumpeting model results that we know must be wrong. It is that they are trumpeting catastrophes that couldn’t happen even if the models were right as justifying costly policies to try to prevent global warming.”

Progressive Democrats set stage to bring back ‘The Fairness Doctrine’

The Orwellian “Fairness Doctrine” is  about to be forced on America by the Democratic party. 

It is a throw back to FDR when Democrats (America’s socialists) were in complete power in the government and the Fairnes Doctrine is anything but fair. Look for a name change here.

Now, whether it’s called the Fairness Standard, whether it’s called something else — I absolutely think it’s time to be bringing accountability to the airwaves. I mean, our new president has talked rightly about accountability and transparency. You know, that we all have to step up and be responsible. And, I think in this case, there needs to be some accountability and standards put in place.

BILL PRESS: Can we count on you to push for some hearings in the United States Senate this year, to bring these owners in and hold them accountable?

SENATOR DEBBIE STABENOW (D-MI): I have already had some discussions with colleagues and, you know, I feel like that’s gonna happen. Yep.

The Rocky Mountain News publishes its last paper today (Friday).

Rich Boehne, chief executive officer of Rocky-owner Scripps, broke the news to the staff at noon today, ending nearly three months of speculation over the paper’s future.

“People are in grief,” Editor John Temple said a noon news conference.

But he was intent on making sure the Rocky’s final edition, which would include a 52-page wraparound section, was as special as the paper itself.

“This is our last shot at this,” Temple said at a second afternoon gathering at the newsroom. “This morning (someone) said it’s like playing music at your own funeral. It’s an opportunity to make really sweet sounds or blow it. I’d like to go out really proud.”

Boehne told staffers that the Rocky was the victim of a terrible economy and an upheaval in the newspaper industry.

“Denver can’t support two newspapers any longer,” Boehne told staffers, some of whom cried at the news. “It’s certainly not good news for you, and it’s certainly not good news for Denver.”

Tensions were higher at the second staff meeting, held to update additional employees who couldn¹t attend the hastily called noon press conference.

Several employees wanted to know about severance packages, or even if they could buy at discount their computers.

Others were critical of Scripps for not seeking wage concessions first or going online only.

But Mark Contreras, vice president of newspapers for Scripps, said the math simply didn’t work.

“If you cut both newsrooms in half, fired half the people in each newsroom, you’d be down to where other market newsrooms are today. And they’re struggling,” he said.

As for online revenues, he said if they were to grow 40 percent a year for the next five years, they still would be equal to the cost of one newsroom today.

“We’re sick that we’re here,” Contreras said. “We want you to know it’s not your fault. There’s no paper in Scripps that we hold dearer.”

But Boehne said Scripps intended to keep its other media, both print and in broadcast, running.

“Scripps has been around for 130 years. We intend to be around another 130 years,” Boehne said. “If you can’t make hard decisions, you won’t make it.”

After Friday, the Denver Post will be the only newspaper in town.

Asked if pubilsher Dean Singleton now walks away with the whole pie, Boehne was blunt.

“He walks away with an unprofitable paper, $130 million in debt and revenues that are down 15-20 percent every year,” Boehne said.

Asked if Singleton would have to pay for the presses now, Boehne added, “We had to kill a newspaper. He can pay for the presses.”

Reaction came from across the nation and around the block.

“The Rocky Mountain News has chronicled the storied, and at times tumultuous, history of Colorado for nearly 150 years. I am deeply saddened by this news, and my heart goes out to all the talented men and women at the Rocky,” U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet said in a statement. “I am grateful for their hard work and dedication to not only their profession, but the people of Colorado as well.”

At the Statehouse, Rep. Joe Rice (D-Littleton), said the paper would be missed.

“The Rocky Mountain News has been a valued institution in Denver,” he said.

“It’s a sad, sad day.”

Long-time Denver real estate agent Edie Marks called the Rocky a voice of reason, moderation and common sense.

“I think that it was the fairest newspaper, the most diverse, and am important part of my daily life,” she said. “I’m going to miss it tremendously.”

On Dec. 4, Boehne announced that Scripps was looking for a buyer for the Rocky and its 50 percent interest in the Denver Newspaper Agency, the company that handles business matters for the papers. The move came because of financial losses in Denver, including $16 million in 2008.

“This moment is nothing like any experience any of us have had,” Boehne said. “The industry is in serious, serious trouble.”

Democrat Party  presidential hopeful Barack Obama brushed aside a series of polls that show him losing support among white women voters to John McCain since the Republican hero named Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.

A Washington Post/ABC News survey published on Tuesday found most of McCain’s surge in the polls since the Republican National Convention was due to a big shift in support among white women voters. Meanwhile, his supporter, Oprah refuses to have Sarah Palin as a guest on her daytime talk show that appeals to women. But apparently white women — not so much.

McCain picks Sarah Palin! McCain picks Palin! The Energy to Run America!

Sen. John McCain has taken center stage the day after Obama’s coronation at the Democrat Convention by announcing his VP at high noon. It’s Sarah Palin she has it all, good looks right out of central casting, intelligent speaker, family values and governor of Alaska. She is an environmentalist and understands drilling for oil is a must for U.S. energy independence.

She has positive energy and wit. She will be able to out debate Biden and show that the Republicans trust a women for high office. She has a  real life, not a life-long  politician like Biden and so many other Big Brother Democrats.

Gov. Sarah Palin has always been a runner. Her parents were marathoners and high school track and cross-country coaches. “Running was a family affair,” she says. “I didn’t have much choice. Thankfully, I’ve never tired of it.”

Gov. Palin, a mother of five kids, says exercise is still very much a “family thing.” She and her husband, Todd, also an athlete, named their first son Track because he was born in that sport’s season. “Conventional running is my sanity,” Gov. Palin says. Having recently given birth to her fifth child, the governor is trying to get back to her old workout routine. She was running 7 to 10 miles almost every day but switched to aerobics classes at her gym when she became pregnant. She has worked her way back up to running three miles every other day.

In the summer, when it’s always light, she’ll sometimes run as late as midnight. In the dead of winter, when it’s dark, she sneaks in an afternoon run, or else grudgingly runs on the treadmill at home or at the gym in the evening. Gov. Palin keeps dumbbells at home, but she says most of her upper body strength comes from snowmobiling with her family. “It’s the best upper body workout you could ever have,” she says. “You’re maneuvering through hundreds of pounds of powder.” (Todd is a four-time champion of the Tesoro Iron Dog, the world’s longest snowmobile race.)

“My family and I eat a healthy diet heavy in wild Alaskan seafood, moose, caribou and fresh fruit,” she says. “I guess my biggest pitfall is breakfast. I know it’s the most important meal of the day but I still haven’t bought into it. I hate to admit it, but a skinny white-chocolate mocha is my staple in the morning.”

“My ideal fantasy is to be running on a hot dusty road just wearing running shorts and some kind of top that wicks away sweat. But in reality I’m running in 20-below temperatures, so I wear layers of fleece and always a good outdoor waterproof trail shoe. Right now I’ve been running in Nike Air Structure Triax. And I always wear sunglasses. My kids tell me to put them on so I don’t freak people out when they see me with a goofy hairdo and no makeup.”

It doesn’t take a political insider to figure out that the year-long cover up by the major media of Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards’ duel life cost Hillary Clinton the presidency. The mainstream media ignored the National Enquirer. Blogs caught on and the news of the ego-maniac Edwards couldn’t be shut down.

Hillary Clinton would be the Democratic presidential nominee if John Edwards had been caught in his lie about an extramarital affair and forced out of the race last year, insists a top Clinton campaign aide, making a charge that could exacerbate previously existing tensions between the camps of Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama.

“I believe we would have won Iowa, and Clinton today would therefore have been the nominee,” former Clinton Communications Director Howard Wolfson told ABCNews.com.

Clinton finished third in the Iowa caucuses barely behind Edwards in second place and Obama in first. The momentum of the insurgent Obama camaign beating two better-known candidates — not to mention an African-American winning in such an overwhelmingly white state — changed the dynamics of the race forever.

Ted Kennedy was one of Obama’s first and most loyal endorsers, does the timing of Senator Kennedy’s seizure strike you as an odd coincidence, coming as the Hillary Rodham Clinton machine wins by double digits in West Virginia and is about to do the same in Kentucky? The day before the JFK assassination, November 21st at noontime in Assistant District Attorney Ben Ellis’ office in front of 6 others, Ruby introduced himself to Ben Ellis and told Mr. Ellis, “You probably don’t know me now, but you will.” ( quoting report to Chief Curry from Lt W.F. Dyson – Dallas archives )

Ruby paid off a colored employee and said: “You had better get it all tonight, because I won’t be around.” Ruby then went to the Police station on Friday night, the 22nd, posed as a writer or interpreter for Jewish newspaper people, and on the 3rd floor of the police department tried to kill Oswald but could not get the opportunity.(Verified by HUDKINS, reporter of the Houston Post.) The wife of Yitzhak Rabin, Leah Rabin, revealed in a biography, that Rabin was in Dallas when Kennedy was assassinated. There is little doubt that Ruby was connected to Rabin and Israel during those moments he was seeking to kill Oswald. “Yes, Rabin could have been one of the “journalists,” writes Jewish author BARRY CHAMISH.

According to the Houston Post, and/or Houston Chronicle, after Ruby had finally seized the opportunity to kill Oswald at 11:21 AM on Sunday morning, the 24th, shortly after, he blurted out that he and others were going to be “the cause of the death of 25 million Jews,” meaning …if the investigators could figure it out.

Ruby’s phoney story: he was “relieving Jackie Kennedy to have to come to Dallas to testify.” But later he said: “the world will never know – nor would they believe – what took place here” and “take me to Washington DC and I will tell you all that I know. I cannot say anything here, I am the only one left that can tell you everything.” Then Ruby conveniently died of “Lung Cancer”. Maybe.

Ruby was noted for blurting out INCRIMINATING STATEMENTS. Many believed that he could not hold a secret or be trusted.
“When they brought in the death penalty, he cracked. Ten days later he rammed his head into a cell wall. Then he tried to kill himself with an electric light socket. Then he tried to hang himself with sheets.”

Then they just helped him do it with “lung cancer”, at age 55. Ruby told his family that he was injected with cancer cells. He had to go, just like Oswald, to conceal the truth.

We will never know the real answer.

Kim Jong-iL is not only mentally ill, but now on his death bed. USA and China prepare for collapse of failed nation

North Korea’s pot-bellied communist leader Kim Jong-il failed to appear at a parade on Tuesday to mark the 60th anniversary of the country’s founding.

UPDATE: Kim Jon Il fired his two-stage rocket on April 5. Look out California. 

Slight of hand. What does President Obama say about it? The U.S. and Russia will work on reducing each others nuclear stockpiles. So? The issue is Kim Jon-iL’s rocket and nuclear weapons program. 

 

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is more impaired from the stroke he apparently suffered last month than reports from the region suggest, and the United States and China are holding talks about what to do if the government in Pyongyang collapses, FOX News has reported.

A senior Bush administration official says that although Kim may not be close to death, the U.S. does not accept reports from South Korea that he’s on his way to a rapid recovery.

The official told FOX News the United States is naturally engaging the Chinese about what to do if there is ensuing instability in North Korea.

Kim Jong-il is ill. What else is new? We knew that. He's an outspoken supporter of the Democrat Party.

Friends of Kim, including pot-bellied Hugo Chavez, hate-filled President Ahmadinejad of Iran, and the Castro brothers are on the phone with North Korea’s embassy, I’m sure.

Now is the time for first George Bush, then John McCain and Sarah Palin to help North Korea become free. Another wall comes down. What does Obama have to say?

“Let me say that I am not going to speculate on the health of a world leader… Yes, in my campaign statements, I said I would meet with President Kim Jong-iL, Hugo Chavez and Ahmadinejad. I’m staying by that promise…”

Hillary goes on after 11th loss in a row. Obama wins Wisconsin and Hawaii.

UPDATED: Did Hillary ask for the inexperienced Hispanic motorcycle officer to window dress her campaign in Dallas?

The family of the Dallas police motorcycle cop, Senior Corporal Victor Lozada needs our condolences. I hope they don’t know that Hillary’s daughter, Chelsea, called members of the police “trained pigs” while the left-wing Clinton’s were in the White House. Nor should they know that while Hillary was an attorney, she supported the Black Panthers and even provided the defense for a Black Panther who was convicted and found guilty of killing a cop.

A little background information:
Did you know that the Black Panthers printed and distributed kids comic books and even coloring books depicting cops as pigs? Some of the action-filled illustrations actually showed teenagers shooting police with pig-like features.

Back to this tragic death.

Mr. Lozada crashed and was killed Friday while escorting the Hillary Clinton motorcade to a campaign rally.
Did you read in your New York Times, Dallas Morning News or San Francisco Chronicle, that the Hispanic officer had only been on motorcycle duty for one month?

Compare that with Hillary Clinton’s attack on Senator Obama for his use of a good friend’s theme “famous words do matter” in a campaign stump speech. Does anyone believe that Obama was plagiarizing his friend, he’s on his campaign.

Did the liberal media mention that Hillary’s PR team requests Secret Service and police in her appearances to be female officers or people of color. Hillary especially wants to target Hispanics in Texas, thinking that she has lost the black vote, but she did well in Miami with Hispanics.

Will there be an investigation into the possibility that Mr. Lozada was rushed into Hillary’s service without enough training? Did Hillary or members of her press crew ask specifically for Hispanic police officers to window dress her campaign appearances in Texas?

No other motorcycles, or vehicles participating in the motorcade, were involved in the accident.

Sources say the 49-year-old Corporal had been in the traffic division since 2003, but was relatively new to the motorcycle division. In fact, most reports say, less than one month.

Mrs. Clinton says in a speech last night that both she and Obama would make history if elected.

No, she was already running the White House for eight years while Bill was being serviced by an intern younger than Chelsea today. (The press still gives Chelsea a pass, even though she is on the campaign trail criss crossing the country for Clinton Inc.)

Barack Obama swept past a fading Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Wisconsin primary and Hawaii caucuses Tuesday night, gaining the upper hand in a Democratic presidential race that is bringing out record numbers of voters.

The triumphs made 11 straight for Obama, and left the former first lady (and co-president) in desperate need of a comeback in a race she long commanded as front-runner.

“The change we seek is still months and miles away,” Obama told an excited crowd in Houston in a speech in which he also pledged to end the war in Iraq in his first year in office.

Well, that war may be over before your convention.

How will HIllary take the super delegates now? How can she justify that?

Ben Franklin loved squirrels and had them for pets. He found them quite intelligent and playful. He even sent one to his sister living in London.

Washington DC gay blogger picks his targets for outing. Is Hillary next?

From his apartment, Michael Rogers, the gay blogger who outs some and keeps the lie secret for others, has had some fame of late. He decides who is dishonest as a gay or lesbian, and who has earned the right to stay in the closet and go on with their lives.

Then, with a few words sprayed onto the uneven ground between gossip and journalism, he turns a life upside down. Or he offers absolution, remaining silent if he believes the person in question has a good heart.

As The Post’s Jose Antonio Vargas reported in his profile of Rogers this week, the blogger views his posts about Idaho Senator Craig and congressmen Ed Schrock and Mark Foley — Republicans who resigned even as they denied Rogers’s claims that they had had same-sex encounters — as neither titillations nor violations of privacy.

Rather, Rogers, a 43-year-old gay man who worked as a fundraiser for gay and environmental lobbies before turning to full-time Internet activism, considers himself an investigative reporter, “someone who has been able to sway a lot of people from my living room.” He sees his work as quintessentially moral, a modern truth-telling that bares political hypocrisy.

But who elected him moral arbiter? Do his readers at blogactive.com even know how he makes his choices about whom to out? By Marc Fisher of the Washington Post.

Rogers sees his outings — a word he says he doesn’t like, although he uses it more than a dozen times over a single lunch — as part of his engagement with the world, no different from his neighborhood activism.

You see, that’s how Democrats and gays work together to change America to their view.

The TIMES of London published a full page photo takeout on Hillary Clinton and her beautiful personal assistant.

“Hillary Clinton has been accused of having an affair with Huma Abedin,” reads the caption.
Now that Republican Senator Larry Craig has been outed as a closeted gay, when is the next shoe or pair of panties going to drop?

What if Hillary Clinton is a closeted lesbian? Shouldn’t she be under the same media attacks as Larry Craig?
In a free society with unbiased media, yes.

You know that there must be beads of sweat forming on the forheads of Hillary’s campaign staff.
This may be known as the September gay/lesbian surprise.

The San Francisco Chronicle and LA Times have had tips sent in from lesbian lovers and other gay/lesbian/transgender “fun times” regarding the New York Senator. Google these word combinations: Hillary, lesbian studies, Hillary bisexual, Carole Migden, lesbian, San Francisco, gay pride, Hillary lesbian, Janet Reno…

I guess those are written off as coming from conservative Christians.

But the landscape has changed. It seems to matter to the media if a politician is gay and hiding it.

The timing is right for the L-word bombshell to drop. Ironically, the bimbo squad will have to be put on alert, this time to shut up bimbo lesbians with bribes and threats.

Even a life-long liberal jounalist knows that this could be his/her big break. It will be tempting. Though the reporter who does drop the L-bomb will be kicked out of the Democrat Party for life, and have a visit from the Clinton contractors.

Former NY Times writer Edward Klein, author of the new book “The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She’ll Go to Become President” says it’s true.

According to an article on PageOne Q’s website, Klein’s new book has ‘explosive’ claims about the former First Lady, current Senator, and potential future candidate for President.

Klein claims such things as:

the culture of lesbianism has influenced Hillary’s political goals and personal life since she was a student at Wellesley, an elite college near Boston she ’embraced’ revolutionary lesbianism when she was young and tolerated her husband’s philandering because their marriage was a largely sexless political convenience.

Many of Hillary’s closest friends and aides were lesbians.

Now, after many years of public apprehension the controversy has been confirmed by insider sources and will soon be revealed to the public, but not by the San Francisco Chronicle or New York Times.

If the Clinton machine works its magic, they will keep the mainstream media in line and in fear.

It’s not as if there were no evidence.

Remember Bill Clinton’s former lover, Gennifer Flowers? She wrote in her book “Passion & Betrayal” of Bill confessing to her that Hillary sleeps with more woman than he does.

The mainstream media gave her no traction, but the book sold well.

Now, it’s a different climate. And outing is in again.
So this is a partial list:

A beauty in her early 30s who often travels with Hillary.
A popular TV and movie star.
The daughter of a top government official.
A stunning model who got a career boost after sleeping with Hillary.

If only a few of these rumors pan out, that’s a lot more gay sex involving Hillary Clinton than Larry Craig.

The commentator Jack Wheeler wrote: “My sources indicate that Hillary is bisexual and fools around more than her husband.” He also credits Hillary for being the force behind the “White House’s homosexual agenda.”

According to the insiders report, Hillary had sex with women during her college days at Wellesly College.

The pant suits she wears.

Chelsea Clinton was conceived as a political ploy to cover up Hillary’s sexuality. That has a ring of truth, doesn’t it?

Sex toys were put on the White House Christmas tree, i.e. dildos and vibrators. What gay festivities!

I think a very big pair of panties are about to drop.

If as Michael More says, Cuba has the best health care system in the world, why did Fidel fly in a doctor from Madrid, Spain? Better yet, why not fly one in from Houston’s M.D. Anderson, or Methodist Hospitals? That wouldn’t fit the propaganda machine. But it may have kept papa alive.

The Majority of Americans say the mainstream media is politically biased and inaccurate

The public thinks mainstream media is politically biased? Wow, you think?

In a new survey by Pew Research Center, a majority of Americans say U.S. news organizations are politically biased, inaccurate, and don’t care about the people they report on, a poll published Thursday showed.

Survey respondents who use the Internet as their main source of news — one quarter of all Americans — were even harsher in their criticism of mainstream media, the poll findings said.

More than two-thirds of the Internet users said they felt that news organizations don’t care about the people they report on; 59 percent said their reporting was inaccurate; and 64 percent they were politically biased.

More than half — 53 percent — of Internet users also faulted the news organizations for “failing to stand up for America”.

Among those who get their news from newspapers and television, criticism of the news organizations was up to 20 percentage points lower than among Internet news audiences, who tend to be younger and better educated than the public as a whole, according to Pew.

The poll indicates an across the board fall in the public’s opinion on the news media since 1985, when a similar survey was conducted by Times Mirror, Pew Research said.

“Two decades ago, (before the Internet) public attitudes about how news organizations do their job were less negative. Most people believed that news organizations stood up for America… a majority believed that news organizations got the facts straight,” Pew said in a report.

Flashback: A Muslim man walks into not just any building in Seattle — not even just any identifiably Jewish location in Seattle — but into the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, whose mission since 1926, according to the website it maintains, is to “ensure Jewish survival and to enhance the quality of Jewish life locally, in Israel and worldwide.”

The Muslim man has obviously not only carefully chosen the target but cased the place. There’s a security system, so he waits until someone attached to the Federation enters using her access code, then he pounces, forcing his way through the open door. He brandishes a large caliber, semi-automatic handgun. He announces that he’s a Muslim angry at Israel. Then he randomly, wantonly opens fire — shooting six women, one of whom is pregnant, one of whom is killed.

So what happens? The police don’t even want to admit that he’s Muslim (“You could infer that,” the police chief tells the reporters who press this patently relevant question). And the FBI insists it’s not terrorism.

Now, it could not conceivably be more clear that it is terrorism. If the FBI is saying they can’t link him to any known terrorist group, that doesn’t mean it’s not terrorism. It’s too early in the investigation to have run down whether the guy has ties to known groups; even if he doesn’t, not all terrorism is committed by known groups (sometimes the acts of terror are how we get to know them); and even if he is acting alone, federal law recognizes the concept of lone-wolf terrorism.

This just in: New York authorities were questioning three men found in a bizarre submersible vessel floating just off Manhattan on Friday, according to local reports.
The men were discovered early Friday near the cruise terminal in Brooklyn where the massive ocean liner The Queen Mary II is moored, ABC television reported on its website.

Could you tell us the names of the three men? Something is “PC-phishy.”

When asked about the incident, a police spokeswoman declined to confirm the report or provide any further information, saying only that officers were at the scene.

What the three men were doing in the vessel — which appeared to be spherical with a circular hatch on top — was not immediately clear.

According to ABC, there was no indication that the discovery was terror-related — a constant fear in New York following the September 11 Al-Qaeda attacks on New York.

Edwards was the first to refuse to participate in the FOX NEWS channel’s NEWS debate for 2008, He was the first to accept the LOGO channel’s invite to the first ever “gay debate”, He screamed and flipped back his hair about Hillary taking Murdoch money, and the truth is he took three times as much Murdoch money as Hillary. And he sends his sick wife on the campaign trail to patch things up in San Francisco becuase he is against gay marriage. He cut down a forest in North Carolina for his monstrous house and panders to the Green vote.

The Valerie Plame Game You Did Not Read About in the Mainstream media.

The Bush administration is not allowed to respond to slanderous, damning accusations by Valerie Plame’s husband, Joe Wilson, because Ms. Plame worked in the office at the CIA (and pushed for hubby to go on the smear campaign trip)?

Who in Washington D.C. didn’t know that they were newly married and where they worked? The “cute couple” made the Georgetown cocktail party circuit and posed together in Vogue magazine before the Libby trial and Plame’s other lawsuit (which she just lost).

Wilson, you will recall, was “recommended” by his wife, Plame, to go on the fact finding mission to Niger. In the normal business world, that’s called nepotisim. Wilson stayed in the finest hotels, wined and dined like royalty and never actually found any evidence to contradict the British intelligence report that Iraq was trying to buy yellow cake uranium.

Wilson and Plame had another agenda, to attack Bush and Cheney. On the talk show rounds, Wilson called Cheney a “lying son of a bitch” and Bush a “liar.”

To this day, British intelligence has documented proof that Iraq was seeking to buy yellow cake and Wilson was the liar when he said he saw “proof” that the Iraq mission to buy yellow cake never happened.

A large cache of automatic weapons and grenade launcher found in an apartment of a Middle Eastern man near the Dallas Federal Building

I didn’t see this reported in my Houston Chronicle this morning.
When the Democrats ban weapons, only terrorists will have the submachine guns and grenade launchers.

A large cache of weapons and ammunition, including 2 AK-47 rifles, an Uzi 9 millimeter submachine gun, a TEC-9 submachine gun, a rocket propelled grenade launcher, and several hundred rounds of ammunition were found in an apartment in the 300 block of North Akard Street in Dallas, Texas today by a maintenance worker. The maintenance worker entered the rented apartment to perform plumbing work for the resident and found the weapons cache, immediately notifying authorities.

According to a federal source, the apartment is rented by a Palestinian or Middle Eastern male who is known to make frequent trips to the Middle East. He recently returned to Dallas today after a trip to the Middle East, according to authorities. Officials from the FBI, Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, and the JTTF are currently investigating. The location of the apartment where the weapons were found is located near the federal building in Dallas.

How come my wife can’t even pack a full bottle of shampoo? This man who makes frequent flights to the Middle East was able to compile this military cache of weapons?

Global Warming a Crisis? The World Has to Warm Nearly 10 More Degrees Just to Catch Up with the Last Warming Period Between Ice Ages. ‘Live Earth’ is a massive fraud for bigger government

The Live Earth event is a massive, hypocritical fraud for political power and the reports of how much pollution the concerts generated will be pouring in by next week, but not in your PC mainstream media.

I doubt you will read that about 150 or so tourists stopped by the Washington DC Live Earth venue in front of the American Indian Museum. Al Gore said some “don’t understand the global warming crisis” and sort of, kind of, tried to stop it… Maybe Al Gore wanted a taxpayer-paid venue for his political scare tactics?

As Madonna jumps, pumps and slithers around on to the huge new mulit-billion dollar Wembley Stadium stage to save the planet, how the “cool” Lefties and Greenies will scream for joy. Modonna is performing for the massive Live Earth event today, with nine concerts played over 24 hours across seven continents before an audience of two billion.

The over-hyped bid to “save the world” is being promoted by former U.S. vice president Al Gore – who helped focus attention on the environmental movement with his Oscar-winning PowerPoint, An Inconvenient Truth – and features artists including The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, UB40 and Metallica. Many say he will run for president if called to do so. His son, Al Gore III, got his Prius up to 100 mph while he was arrested for the appearance that he was driving under the influence of drugs, or maybe he was just on a natural carbon neutral high?

For her 2006 World Tour, Madonna flew by private jet, transporting a team of up to 100 technicians and dancers around the globe. Waiting in the garage (the size of a large home), she has a Mercedes Maybach, two Range Rovers, an Audi A8 and a Mini Cooper S.

Madonna produces more than 100 times the average amount of waste produced by Americans in a year, alomost as much as Al Gore.

There are more than 150 performers jetting around the world to appear in Live Earth concerts from Tokyo to Rio. It is an exercise in hypocrisy on a grand scale. The lights on stage for one performance can light the homes of a small village for a year.

Matt Bellamy, front man of the rock band Muse, has dubbed it ‘private jets for climate change’.

A London Daily Mail investigation has revealed that far from saving the planet, the extravaganza will generate a huge fuel bill, acres of garbage, thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions, and a mileage total equal to the movement of an army.

The flights being taken by its superstars total 222,624 miles to get to the various concerts — nearly nine times the circumference of the world. The true environmental cost, as they transport their technicians, dancers and support staff, is likely to be the biggest carbon footprint ever made, for what?

The total carbon footprint of the event, taking into account the artists’ and spectators’ travel to the concert, and the energy consumption on the day, is likely to be at least 31,500 tons of carbon emissions, according to John Buckley of Carbonfootprint.com, who specialises in such calculations.

Throw in the world-wide television audience and it comes to a staggering 74,500 tons.

The concert will also generate some 1,025 tonnes of waste at the concert stadiums – much of which will go directly into landfill sites.

Moreover, the pop stars headlining the concerts are the absolute antithesis of the message they promote – with Madonna leading the pack of the worst individual rock star polluters in the world according to the U.K. media.

“There is also the environmental cost of these artists flying around the world – that is absolutely huge.”

A look at the lifestyles of the performers at Live Earth, reveals that they are among the worst polluters in the world, as their world tours and private jets billow thousands of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year.

One hour in a Gulfstream jet burns as much fuel as driving a family car for a year.

The planet may be warming. So what?

Most 5th graders know that warm oceans covered most of the world for millions of years. Geologists make their living by knowing hydrocarbons were formed by the compression of layers of life eons of warm, lush periods. Semi-tropical deltas in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota formed the basis of today’s rich Bell Creek oil field and others. Layer apon layer of sand and sealife can be found hundreds of miles inland in Canada.

During four separate times, glaciers advanced across the land and then retreated. The last ice sheet did not retreat until the end of the Pleistocene era, just 10,000 years ago. Have you ever seen the Great Lakes? They were formed by those melting glaciers.

The most accurate way to study long-term climate conditions is through core samples. Geologist have found that Alaska and Alberta once had warm, semi-tropical beaches and seas. A study released this week, shows Greenland really was lush and green. This is information global warming Democrats don’t want you to know. Party on dude!

Scientists drilled 1.2 miles down into a Greenland glacier, where they recovered the oldest plant DNA on record. The planet was far warmer hundreds of thousands of years ago than is generally believed. DNA of trees, plants and insects including butterflies and spiders from beneath the southern Greenland glacier was estimated to date to 450,000 to 900,000 years ago, according to the remnants retrieved from this long-vanished boreal forest.

That contrasts sharply with the conventional view that a lush forest of this kind could only have existed in Greenland as recently as 2.4 million years ago, according to a summary of the study, which is published Thursday in the journal Science.

The samples recorded the temperature reached 50 degrees Fahrenheit (F) in the summer and 1 F in the winter.

They also indicated that during the last warming period between ice ages, 116,000-130,000 years ago, when temperatures were on average 9 F warmer than now, the glaciers on Greenland did not completely melt away.
Of course, there was no manmade CO2 warming going on at that time.

“These findings allow us to make a more accurate environmental reconstruction of the time period from which these samples were taken,” said Martin Sharp, a glaciologist at the University of Alberta, Canada, and a co-author of the paper.

“What we’ve learned is that this part of the world was significantly warmer than most people thought.”

In a separate paper, also published in Science, European experts said they had analysed the world’s deepest ice core, enabling them to reconstruct patterns of warming and glaciation over the past 800,000 years.

The 3,260-metre (10,595-feet) core was drilled into the East Antarctica icesheet at the Franco-Italian base, Dome C. The drillers, gathered in a venture called the European Project for Ice Coring in Antarctica (EPICA) stopped just 15 metres short of the bedrock.

Using traces of the hydrogen isotope deuterium in air bubbles trapped in the ice layers, the scientists built a record of greenhouse-gas concentrations over the aeons, which in turn provides a record of temperature.

They found the temperature varied widely, by as much as 27 F over the 800,000 years. In the last Ice Age, which ended around 11,000 years ago, the temperature was 18 F lower than today. It may be time to start investing in winter sports like skiing, snow boarding and ice hockey.
